Moses's Musical Journey

Moses was born in South Korea and began studying piano at the age of nine. Moving to America with his family at age fifteen, he found new opportunities to sing in school and to learn flute in church. Through this experience, Moses discovered that he had a talent for music.

He pursued his love of music further by continuing to sing, and also by trying other instruments, including the saxophone. In high school, he performed solo and successfully auditioned for district, honors, and all-state chorus. After graduation, he attended Nova College, where he took private lessons in both piano and violin alongside his continued studies in voice. It was there that a professor recommended to Moses that he pursue becoming a professional musician. Around this time, Moses also began teaching music, and he started to invest in learning how to make and repair violins as well.

At this point, Moses has been teaching music for fifteen years. He enjoys sharing his love of music with others and considers this opportunity a blessing. He is passionate about connecting with students and working to understand each of their needs, from specific skills to simple motivation.

In addition to teaching, Moses currently serves as an assistant director in the JM Youth Orchestra, performs as a saxophonist at Lighthouse Worship Center, and occasionally performs as a solo violinist in local communities.

I am passionate about connecting with students and working to understand each of their needs.
