Koki's Musical Journey
Koki is an exceptional pianist, educator, and composer who took up piano as a young child. He began to learn more about composition during his middle school years, and these interests eventually led him to where he is today!
As he entered adulthood, Koki continued his music education at Tbilisi State Conservatory, where he earned both his Bachelor's Degree in Teaching Music Theory and Composition and his Master's Degree in Composition.
Koki has been teaching music since 2018, and has worked with children as young as four through adults of all ages. He is proud to offer music as a creative outlet for children with behaviorial, developmental, or physical challenges, as well as those who are in music therapy. His past experience includes teaching at a Georgian academy in addition to private lessons. Koki enjoys providing fun lessons that are engaging to students, including classical pieces, pop music, and jazz along with other genres.
When he isn't teaching, Koki enjoys a number of other musical roles. He has worked as the resident composer, pianist, and music arranger at the Synetic Theater Company since 2007. He not only composes, but also works directly with the choreographer and director to create compositions that will work with a production.
