Vinny C.

Vinny is an experienced performer, composer, and teacher. He began playing the guitar when he was still in elementary school, later adding the piano, and has continued to play ever since! In high school, Vinny was one of the most notable musicians in his school, performing in the school's jazz band as well as in multiple bands around town. His passion for music was recognized, and he received several scholarships to continue his dream of pursuing music at The University of Colorado Denver. At CU Denver, Vinny was fortunate to learn from some amazing professors and also performed in several ensembles on campus. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Music with a focus in Recording Arts and Music Business.

Vinny has taught both guitar and piano for many years. He is patient and thorough with his students, not only teaching them how to play the songs they enjoy, but also ensuring an understanding of the fundamentals of music: chords, scales, proper posture, and music theory. He moves at a pace that is comfortable for the student, and strives to make lessons fun! While he has all different kinds of students who have a variety of goals and interests, Vinny is an especially great fit for any student with an interest in music production or music business.

Vinny is based in Denver, Colorado, and when he isn't teaching, he focuses on performing, composing, and collaborating with other musicians. He is a full-time musician performing regularly on both guitar and keys. His band, Melody Lines, has performed at Sonic Bloom, one of the biggest music festivals in the state, as well as headlining sold-out shows at local venues such as Cervantes. Vinny also enjoys writing and performing original electronic music.
