Robert enjoys mentoring all types of people as they learn to play music; it's a way for him to give back to the community and society. He has over a decade of experience as an educator, and he teaches private piano lessons to students of all ages and a wide variety of skill levels. His teaching philosophy is to feed his students' enthusiasm about music, no matter their current or desired skill level. He has previously taught courses as a graduate instructor of record or assistant at the University of Missouri, Florida State University, and as an adjunct at Front Range Community College Westminster. His areas of experience include the oboe, piano, popular music songwriting, music fundamentals, music theory, musicianship, music technology, and composition, all of which he is happy to discuss and incorporate into his lessons.

I enjoy mentoring all types of people as they learn to play music; it's my way to give back to the community.
